A reference, not a doctor

EvidenceFirst supports — never replaces — clinical judgment. Content is a referenced summary of published evidence and guidelines, provided for verified healthcare professionals and students.

It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not intended for patients or the general public.

Emergencies

Never rely on EvidenceFirst in an emergency. Follow your institution’s emergency protocols.

Evidence changes

Guidelines are revised and evidence evolves. Sources are versioned and re-ingested, but there may be a lag between a publisher’s update and its appearance in answers — the cited source, with its date, is always the authority.

Errors

If you find an answer that misstates its source, tell us at hello@evidencefirst.org. Corrections are prioritised above all other work.
